Full of surprises, the Park City Museum will take you on an adventure back in time. Families can explore a late 19th century Mega Mine and what it took to earn your pay as a Park City Miner, climb into an original car from the world's only “Skier Subway”,
and visit the original territorial jail in the basement of the historic City Hall. Your familiar with the Park City of today and, now you can explore and see what it was like to live in Park City 100 years ago.
Enjoy the Outside on the inside. The Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter is a 1,200-acre Nature Preserve and a 10,000 square foot LEED Platinum building with interactive exhibits exploring the surrounding environment. You can enjoy the Swaner Preserve year-round with exhibits inside the Eco-Center that explore the wildlife and the environment in the surrounding wetlands. In the summer you can join a tour of the surrounding wetlands and in winter the same tour is provided on snowshoes. The gift shop provides a shopping experience filled with local and eco-friendly art.
If the kids have more energy than they can exert on the slopes book a session at Woodward’s Action Sports Hub. With an indoor trampoline zone, skate park, pump tracks, and mini tracks, as well as a
parkour zone, Woodward guarantees the kids will come back exhausted and ready to do it all again the next day! Woodward operates with both indoor and outdoor activities year-round, and it’s a great option for multi-day activities and lessons while the grown-ups in the group get their winter or summer shred on!
Libraries are not just for books! The Library in Park City is a hip hang out and a great place to get inside and explore when the winds rage and the lifts are delayed.
In the YouCreate Lab, you can use the 3d printer to design and create your own masterpiece or check-out a 3D Doodler pen to explore and create back at your vacation rental. Non-library members can borrow a large array of items for up to 4 hours at the Library or become a Library member for as little as $20 and take items home to enjoy during your stay.
