Spend more time adventuring and less time sitting in traffic or standing in line. The Adventure Cabin at Black Bear Lodge is located Mid-Mountain, directly across from the Stein Eriksen Lodge at the Deer Valley Resort. Walk to ski and reach that un-tracked powder before skiers at the base are even on the lift! Lifts at the Mid-Mountain base are a short three minute walk from your front door. Adjacent to the free bus stop and within walking distance of restaurants and entertainment.

Your stay is about to get even dreamier with PURPLE – enjoy a whole new level of deep sleep and feel refreshed for your next adventure. Featuring PURPLE Mattresses & Plush Pillows. The master suite offers a king hybrid 3 mattress while the second suite offers a queen hybrid 3 mattress. There is a fold out sofa bed in the living room to extend occupancy to six guests
3 Bathrooms
Enjoy full en-suite bathrooms in both suites and a third full bathroom with soaking tub in the common space. Never a need to wait for hot water with an on-demand hot water heater and space for everyone to refresh for a night of après.
Private Hot Tub
Step outside onto the private deck and enjoy a relaxing soak as the snowcats groom Peeler and Stargazer. Or watch the snow fall and plan the next days adventure. Hot tub is professionally maintained and is always cleaned and sanitized between guests.
Gas Fireplace
Nothing says mountain ski vacation like sitting next to the fire after a perfect day on the slopes. Enjoy the gas fireplace with a flip of the switch.

Heated Pool and Gym
Located in the center court of the Black Bear Lodge is a year-round heated pool and community hot tub. With chairs for lounging and a large gas grill for barbecuing you can spend summer evenings or some extra time off the slopes soaking up the sun pool side. And if you're not getting the arm work out you need racing the Deer Valley Nastar course or ripping the downhill single track you can stop in to the gym and and add a couple extra reps.
Central Heating and Cooling
Your comfort is our goal year round so the Adventure Cabin is equipped with central heating in the winter and central cooling in the summer.
Washer and Dryer
Access and entry to the Adventure Cabin is through a keyless entry lock. Your unique entry code is generated and sent to you 48hrs prior to arrival. The door locks automatically upon closing.
Dedicated Wifi
No worries about quality wifi signal and strength. You'll have access to a unit specific wifi at gaming and streaming speeds a teenager will get excited about. Wifi login information is available upon entry to the condo.
Digital Entertainment
There are televisions in the common space and both bedroom suites. All televisions are equipped with smart features or Roku devices that include access to Netflix and upgraded cable television packages. There are also Alexa devices that allow for streaming music and local updates. Alexa devices can be turned off if guests choose not to have them active.

Reserved Garage Parking
A vehicle isn't required to enjoy your Adventure in Deer Valley but if you choose to bring a car there is a reserved space in the heated underground parking so you'll never have to fight for a spot to park.
Elevator Access
No dragging your gear and luggage up the stairs. The elevator is with easy reach of your designated parking spot and steps away form the entry to the condo. Use the free Deer Valley Ski Valet to hold your gear at the end of each day to make things that much easier.
Thoughtfully Stocked Kitchen
One of the benefits of a vacation rental is the flexibility it gives you to eat in. If you find yourself wanting to make a home cooked master piece or just a quick breakfast before heading out; you'll find a fully equipped kitchen just like home. From pots and pans, to measuring cups and blenders, we promise you'll have everything you need at your finger tips. We even provide a full array of spices, olive oils and cooking sprays as well as enough coffee, creamer and sugar to get you through your adventure stay.
All the Necessities
Not that we want you to spend your vacation doing laundry but if the need arises you can easily clean up after your adventure with a large capacity stackable washer and dryer. With speed cycle options you can be washed and dried and back to adventuring in under an hour! We even provide detergent, dryer sheets (it's Utah you'll need them), stain remover, steamer, iron and ironing board.
Smoke Free
The Adventure Cabin is a smoke free unit both inside and out. There is no smoking in the unit, on the deck or in the common areas of Black Bear Lodge. There is also no vaping and no cannabis smoking allowed at anytime.
Saftey Equipment
You're safety is our top priority. We don't want anything to happen while you're staying at the Adventure Cabin but we want you to know that should something arise we are prepared. The Adventure Cabin is equipped with both smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, there is a fire extinguisher that is safety checked each year and the condo and building are equipped with fire suppression sprinklers. If that's not enough the fire station is right next door. We also provide a first aid kit and and ample supply of bandages should the need arise.
We want to make traveling as easy as possible for our guests so we provide all the basic necessities for your stay. In the bathrooms you will find extra rolls of toilet paper, hand soap, Argan Oil Glossing shampoo and conditioner, Dove Body Wash, feminine products and blow dryers. The laundry center has detergent, fabric sheets, and stain remover as well as a clothes steamer and iron with ironing board. The kitchen is stocked with fresh sponges,dish detergent, paper towels and garbage bags. The kitchen is also stocked with Keurig Pods, creamer , sugar and sugar substitutes, as well as several sized Ziploc bags, tin foil and plastic wrap.
Must Be 25+ to Book
Like most hotels and vacation rentals, the primary guests must be 25 years old on the date of booking. This is an insurance requirement and we're sorry but it isn't negotiable.
